Yes. Creating an account, building a profile, browsing talent, and posting a project are all completely free. GigMint only earns a small service fee when a project is successfully funded and completed — so we only succeed when you do.

Absolutely. Many members hire talent for some projects while offering their own services on others. Use the role switcher in your dashboard to toggle between your buyer and seller workspaces — your account, history, and wallet stay unified.

Head to Find Work to browse open projects. Filter by category, budget, and project type. When you find a good fit, open it and click Submit Proposal — set your rate (or accept the fixed AI-task rate), add a short cover note, and optionally propose milestones. You can also publish standalone gigs that clients buy directly.

Be specific and personal: reference the client's actual goal, explain your approach in a few clear sentences, and show one relevant example. Set a realistic rate, propose sensible milestones for larger jobs, and reply quickly to follow-up questions. A complete, verified profile with strong reviews dramatically improves your win rate.

For fixed-price projects you can split work into milestones, each with its own amount, title, and deliverable. The client funds each milestone upfront before you begin it, and releases payment as each one is approved — protecting both sides and keeping large projects on track.

Deliver high-quality work on time, communicate clearly, and ask satisfied clients to leave a review. Ratings, completed-project counts, and on-time delivery all feed your profile ranking, helping you appear higher in search and attract better-paying clients.

Click Post a Project, describe what you need, choose a category, set a fixed or hourly budget, and publish. Freelancers send proposals you can compare side by side. You can also browse Find Talent and invite specific freelancers, or buy a ready-made gig instantly.

Review each proposal's approach, rate, and timeline, then check the freelancer's profile: portfolio, reviews, completed projects, verification badges, and languages. Message your shortlist to confirm scope before you hire. When you're ready, fund the project to get started; your payment is protected until you approve.

You pay the agreed project amount plus a small, transparent service fee shown clearly at checkout before you confirm. There are no hidden charges — your payment is protected and only released when you approve the delivered work.

Projects support hiring multiple freelancers, and you can run several projects in parallel from one dashboard. For ongoing or larger engagements, post separate milestones or projects and manage everything — messages, files, payments — in one place.

Once a client approves your delivered work (or a milestone), the payment is released to your account balance. You withdraw to your connected payout account, and we support payouts to freelancers in 90+ countries through Stripe Connect. Processing times depend on your country and method.

Go to Settings → Payouts and click Connect. You'll securely complete a short onboarding (name, country, bank or card details) handled by our payments partner. Once connected and verified, your withdrawals route automatically to that account.

GigMint charges a small service fee on completed work — the exact percentage is always displayed in your proposal and checkout summaries before anything is confirmed. Clients see the total (project amount + fee) up front; freelancers see their net payout after the service fee.

Funds release when you click Approve on a delivery or milestone. For milestone projects, each portion releases as it's approved, so payment always tracks completed work.

Yes. Payments are processed by PCI-compliant partners, and GigMint never stores raw card numbers on its servers. All transactions are encrypted in transit, and sensitive payout details are tokenized by our payments provider.

Verify your email at sign-up, then complete profile verification in Settings. Payout onboarding may also request identity details to comply with global payment regulations. Verified accounts earn a trust badge and unlock full platform features.

On the login page, click Forgot password?, enter your email, and follow the secure reset link we send you. If you don't see it, check your spam folder and confirm you used the email tied to your account.

Open Settings to control email and on-site notifications, profile visibility, and connected accounts. You can update or download your data and manage privacy preferences at any time.

First, message the freelancer with clear, specific feedback — most issues are resolved with a quick revision. If you can't reach an agreement, open a dispute from the project page. While a dispute is reviewed, no payment is released.

Our resolution team reviews the project brief, messages, and delivered files from both sides, then recommends a fair outcome — a revision, a partial release, or a refund. Keeping communication and deliverables on-platform ensures there's a clear record if a dispute arises.

Yes — if work isn't delivered as agreed and can't be resolved, your payment can be refunded in full or in part based on the resolution. Since payment is only released on your approval, you're protected throughout.

AI Tasks are pre-scoped jobs with a fixed rate — no bidding required. The scope and price are defined up front, so you can accept and start immediately. They're ideal for well-defined, repeatable work where speed matters.

Each AI Task carries a fixed rate shown on the task page. Qualified freelancers are matched to tasks based on skills and availability, and payment is protected the same way as every other project on GigMint.
